Pages, page numbers, margins, and print preview
I would love to have the concept of pages in Ellipsus. When editing a big work, I want to refer to its page numberβit makes it easier to find a passage and pick up where you left off. When exporting into PDF and printing my work, I want to adjust the margins and preview it before exportingβthis saves me time and gives me control over the layout (we love aesthetics, right?).

Automated backups / bulk downloads
Would be great if there was some sort of back-up feature that would automatically download a copy of all of my stories. Especially if there was an additional option to only download stories that I've added to since my last back up. Or maybe just a mass download option? Let me download from the home page, with the ability to select each story that I want to download. I'm a strong believer in redundancy and it's tedious to have to download every story individually when I'd like to back things up to my own hard drive.

Invite collaborators via username
Adding collaborators via username instead of email to ensure works can be shared without divulging personal details.

Add-ons / plug-ins / extensions
Functionality to allow for user-created features. I'm thinking an add-on browser, with a friendly API. Add-on s could be reviewed before they get into the browser, for liability and security reasons. Add-ons seem a great way for users to get more features and a good way for them to less formally 'vote' on features. More popular ones might be absorbed into Ellipsus while less popular ones could safely be ignored. A lot of the draw towards Obsidian comes from that, but even Google's fleet of office programs have it as well.

Add ambient noise
I'm amazed no one suggested this before, but I really like soft music or white noise in the background when writing, like rain sounds or thunder or some lofi sounds etc. So integreating that into the software itself would be amazing :D

Discord integration
So, I already put this in the Discord, but it could be cool to have integrations on Discord and other sites to better help share our works wherever we wish to share them. or it would let co-writers know when a new draft or something was made.

Share/publish templates
This may be out of the scope for Ellipsus, but allowing communities to share their templates may be beneficial. Iβm thinking something similar to template sharing function on Notion, or one akin to sharing pre-coded Tumblrβs blog themes.

Add covers to PDF and EPUB exports
Like applications like Scrivener that have the option to set up meta data, It would be nice for a section to come along when you click on 'export'. That will help fill in meta data like the name of the book/project and the author's name and then the option to add a cover image for novel writers like myself.

Sprint timer notification option
I'd love to see an option to turn on a small notification noise when the sprint timer runs out! Sometimes I get so lost in the sauce while writing that I completely miss the end of my sprint, especially when writing with others.

Typesetting
I would love to see a feature that allows for book formatting and typesetting. There are very few affordable options for this, and it would be a great addition to this application.

Permanently delete collaborators emails
I just started adding collaborator emails to my documents and one of my collaborators gave me the wrong email address. I was able to remove the email address that doesn't work from the documents, but there is no way to permanently delete it from the suggested collaborator emails in subsequent documents.

Option to customize HTML to come out of Ao3 export
I have recently faced an issue when trying to use the Ao3 export font: while the basic formatting worked nicely (alignment, italics, and bold mostly), the text color simply wouldn't work. It took me a little while and some help to understand that it's because Ao3 doesn't support the color format Ellipsus offers. Instead, I would have to search and replace the color manually every time I tried to export something with different colors, which completely defeated the point of doing it through Ellipsus for me to begin with. While thinking about a possible solution, I came to this idea: let us users set up a customized list of commands for certain formatting options and save it for all future projects. This way we can ensure the exported code matches the ones our CSS themes have on Ao3 without the extra headache. It could also be useful for things like different fonts (personally, I would love the option to only export the font itself, instead of the size too). I'm not sure how many people could benefit from something like this, or if it's possible at all, but I figured out it wouldn't hurt to put the idea out there if only so the devs are aware of the compatibility issue.

@Voice Aloud Reader integration
I primarily use Google docs and it is easy to open projects with document reader apps. I use @voice aloud reader. It is free. It helps me to better edit and organize my writing. I think the ability to open documents in other apps this way would be helpful to lots of people.
