To make better use of the space and move to a format that will better accommodate potential future improvements, we've adjusted the layout of the Settings -> User details page.

Our authorization provider has made further updates to continue supporting older 15.xx iOS versions.

Following framework updates done by our authorization provider, the minimum version of iOS required by their services is 16.4.

If you are able to update your device to at least iOS version 16.4, this immediately remedies the issue, but they have confirmed that devices running older versions of iOS are no longer supported by their services—or Apple's—due to the compatibility and security risks.

There is no other workaround at this time.

Over the last three years, we've managed to acquire quite the lengthy list of feature requests!

In order to better reflect and communicate the development status, visibility, and organization of the ideas board, we're making some changes and updates, including:

• Adjusting labels and categories
• Updating statuses
• Enabling a (rough) roadmap view + announcements page

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we carry out these slightly messy updates!

These changes should improve the performance of syncing and version history, especially at peak times!

Say goodbye to the days of draft-only comments. Now you and your collaborators can leave comments right smack in the main doc. 🥵

Commenting on the main document works the same as in drafts.

Simply highlight the text you wish to comment on -> type, style, and post 💌

Comments can be carried over from the main doc to drafts (just select keep comments) 👇… as well as merged back into the main document from drafts 😱

We’re updating the titles of collaborator roles to better reflect all the things Ellipsus can do now!

• Can merge -> Document editor
• Can edit -> Draft editor
• Can comment —> Commenter (on both main & drafts)
• Can view -> Viewer

To be clear: the permissions structure isn’t changing, just the names! You can get acquainted with the new role titles here: Collaboration in Ellipsus

Typewriter scrolling keeps the line your typing on in a fixed spot, while the scrolling view moves around it.

Typed lines will move up the page, rather than down, as your cursor stays level, for a super steady writing experience—just like a typewriter!

To toggle on go to Editor settings -> Typewriter scrolling.
